Jaskier with Wings

I want Jaskier to have wings just because I feel it suits him so well. Like the coolest thing about the winged person aesthetic is that you can control how much space you take up without like actually growing or shrinking and like Jaskier already does that on a small scale. Like when he’s being contrite or scared he’ll fold himself up, if he’s happy or declaring something he’ll spread himself up, whenever he’s angry he literally puffs up like a bird. Like that’s EXACTLY what birds do when they’re angry.

I just have this mental image of Jaskier with wings being so expressive with them and like all those times he’s stumbling around, he’s also tripping over his wings and when he’s being suave his wings are slick and folded up neatly and I just.

Also Jaskier perching himself on random things, or flapping up into the air suddenly if he’s surprised and THEN coming down and perching on random things. His favourite perch is of course Geralt’s shoulders, because it’s a nice tall spot that he can easily lift off from - like a tree branch there will be other branches in the way that prevent an easy start, and buildings are too high, especially since the times Jaskier wants to leap off quickly it’s to beat someone up and Geralt is like the perfect hight for that, AND he can spread his wings out threateningly and look extra menacing up there (and it feels like he’s protecting geralt and claiming him as his own)

Jaskier gets surprised when indoors (a castle or smth with tall ceilings) when there’s a big commotion and when it all calms down they cant find him and they look up to find him clinging to the ceiling beams not entirely sure how to get down, because there’s not enough room for him to have a very dignified landing.

Jaskier using his own feathers as makeshift quills when he’s in a hurry and Geralt getting so exasperated because he’s running out of primaries and geralt’s noticed how shoddy his flying is becoming, so Geralt keeps a couple of quills in his pocket so he can easily stop Jaskier from absentmindedly reaching to his wings when he wants to write something down.

Jaskier moulting and shedding feathers everywhere is really funny because like he stretches in the mornings and a bunch of feathers fall out, or he gets startled and flaps his wings, and feathers fall out - Geralt finds it hilarious but also makes a point to collect the feathers for later when Jaskier needs a quill.

Idk I just have many mental images and I’m probably not wording them properly but It’s not like I can draw so yeah, here’s my brain fart, enjoy.

This looks like a fucking parody post, or an edgy edit, but it’s 100% official real Flintstones.

Clarification: I don’t hate this book, I love it, it’s amazing. It’s just that taking a step back and looking it out of context is still really funny. Especially the line “We participated in a genocide, Barney.”

ok but imagine them in their cartoon forms saying this dialogue i’m

can we have some context to this, perhaps?

Bedrock is having a mayoral election. One of the candidates is a violent war mongering asshole that riles people up against the lizard people. This reminds Fred and Barney of their time in the army.

Back then the father of said violent candidate was riling people up against the “tree people”. Fred, Barney, and other soldiers fought what they believed to be a defensive measure against the tree people. Turns out, it was actually an invasion, in order to kill off the tree people and take over their forest to build Bedrock.

That’s what Fred means when he says he and Barney participated in a genocide. They literally did.

(Extra fun fact, Barney adopted a tree person baby after the war, and his son Bamm-Bamm is the last tree person.)

just fucking read it

There are a lot of interesting things about this post but the AK-47 shaped spear is what really got me

This is just as wild with the context
